Yen-Li Chen Ballet School is pleased to announce our 2008 Summer
Intensive and Princess Camp. Classes begin on Monday, June 2, 2008 and conclude with a student performance on Friday,
June 27, 2008. Students ages 5 through pre-professional will be placed in a level appropriate to their previous dance
experience and age. Our summer faculty will include Vera Golubkova & Victoria Coxon and guest teachers, Carla Stallings
Lippert, John Wey Ling, Lee-Wei Chao, Deanna Poulos, Yumiko Takahashi, Michael Cook and Virginia Nicholas.
Our Two and Four-week Princess camp will provide the young dancer training in Ballet Technique & Terminology,
Creative Movement, Pantomime and Improvisation.
Our Two, Three, and Four-week intensive training will include Ballet Technique, Pointe/Variations, Pirouette/Batterie,
Pilates, Modern, Character, Spanish and Jazz.
The summer program will provide an opportunity for broader exposure and a more highly concentrated pace of study than
possible during the academic year.
Placement classes for the intensive training will be held February 1st through May 16th during normal class times.
A $50/$100 non-refundable deposit will secure your place in class and will be credited toward your tuition.
Deposits are
due by Saturday, May 17, 2008.
A ten percent discount of total tuition will apply if registered for four weeks.
